Different adhesives offer specific performance properties. Seed packets containing bulky seeds, like corn and peas, oftentimes pop open because of the seed size and shape. And resealable adhesives do not always offer the strength required to keep packages closed.
Sealing on a packet is extremely important. To create leak-proof packets, JBM’s Innovation Team tested various adhesives and the resulting chemical reactions that occur with papers, inks, and filled product. We developed an advanced adhesive system that offers a stronger, secure bond to keep packets sealed. This innovative process ensures the package will remain secure during its shelf life, especially for larger economy seed bags.
